Kent Moroux is a Baton Rouge personal injury attorney with Chris Corzo Injury Attorneys. Over the course of his career, Kent had established himself as a highly skilled litigator, having successfully handled many trials across the State of Louisiana—including more than sixty bench trials and numerous jury trials. He also has successfully argued and won before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Kent’s practice focuses on serious personal injury and wrongful death cases, including automobile and trucking accidents, product liability, and mass torts. His extensive courtroom experience, combined with his deep understanding of judges and venues throughout the state, make him a powerful advocate for clients who are seeking fair compensation for their losses.
Recognized for both his legal acumen and trial results, Kent is frequently sought out by fellow attorneys to serve as a mediator in complex, high-stakes cases. His ability to evaluate disputes from multiple perspectives and guide parties toward resolution has earned him the respect and trust of the legal community.
Kent earned his law degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2007. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts. He also is an active member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association.
A student of philosophy during his undergraduate years, Kent developed a lasting appreciation for logic, argument, and the pursuit of justice—principles and skills that continue to shape his approach to advocacy today.
Outside the courtroom, Kent enjoys Cajun cooking, photography, and playing guitar. Several of his photographs have appeared on the cover of Baton Rouge Lawyer magazine, showcasing his creative eye and talent behind the lens. Above all, he loves spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and two daughters, Olivia and Caroline.
